Instructor Training Course

This course was originally developed in co-operation with West Midlands Police. It is provided for persons who have offended against the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991. The areas covered are:
  • Overview of canine behaviour
  • Legislation
  • Training and management
  • Dog welfare

The course has been further adapted from the original format and is now an ideal learning platform for pet owners and professionals alike.

Course Duration: 3 Hours

A more in depth course which will provide the skills, knowledge and understanding necessary to deliver safe handling, management and care of dogs. Additional content includes:
  • Muzzle training
  • Bonding
  • Senses of the dog
  • Safety awareness

Course Duration: 6 Hours


An in depth course for instructors and potential instructors, at dog training clubs. The course gives ideas on what to teach, how to teach it, and why it should be taught. The content is wide ranging and can be adapted to suit varying requirements.
